High visit at MAN Energy Solutions in Zurich, Switzerland
High-ranking politicians and stakeholders visited our production halls in Zurich to learn more about MAN ETES (Electro-Thermal Energy Storage) - our solution for sector coupling.

Together with the Yes Committee for the new CO2 law in Switzerland and the Solar Impulse Foundation, we had the pleasure of welcoming some high-ranking guests to our production halls in the heart of Zurich. The event focused on the compatibility of climate protection and economic growth. Technologies were presented that are already viable and ready to be deployed to drive decarbonization, such as our three-generation energy management system for coupling the heating, cooling and electricity sectors - the MAN ETES.
Among the guests were CEO of the Solar Impulse Foundation Betrand Piccard, Zurich Mayor Corine Mauch, WWF Switzerland CEO Thomas Vellacott, Council of States member Ruedi Noser, Zurich Cantonal Councilor Martin Neukom, and Federal Councilor and Environment Minister Simonetta Sommaruga. The latter promoted the new CO2 law in Switzerland and a Swiss climate neutrality by 2050 and called for more investments in innovative technologies, such as the MAN ETES.
