Technical Sales Consultant Omnicare (PS Industries)

Job Requirements:
- Technical consulting for all mechanical operating issues of local turbomachinery fleet (internally and externally)
- Sales support on regional turbomachinery fleet of any OEM, concerning technical discussion and possible solutions
- Regular participation to customer visits in the region together with respective sales manager in order to recognize and develop business opportunities for all Omnicare products like maintenance, spare parts, repairs, revamps, service contracts and field service
- Development of opportunities of third-party machine business identified by Sales Managers with existing and new customers in alignment with Omnicare and Sales Managers
- Regular technical Know-How transfer with other Regions and PCs
- Support of field service personnel in case of technical problems
- Implementation of technical analyses including reporting and documentation
- Proposal and feasibility of possible offerings towards customers
- Alignment with Sales, Engineering, Field Service and Workshop concerning possible repair concept and solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Detailed understanding of the business both technical and commercial levels
- Seasoned sales experience with 5-10 years of related experience, preferably in the turbomachinery
- Excellent skills set required in areas such as communication, contract negotiation, terms and conditions design, legal implications of terms and conditions and project management at the most senior level of customer even in a highly dynamic environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a high degree of customer satisfaction and intimacy orientation
- Strong networker, engaging, well aware of the local market and within MAN
- Sound interpersonal, presentation as well as intercultural skills and understanding

Head of Complex Projects APAC

Responsibilities and tasks:
Strategy
- Identify Market trends, market drivers and unique selling preposition for revamps/footprints in alignment with IGC/Hub FrontEnd Sales team to prioritize markets/customers/products
- Develop regional strategy for complex projects
- Monitor and follow-up on strategy implementation actions. Adjust as needed to secure sustainable complex project business.
- Systematic fleet analysis for standard ”revamps” such as I&C upgrades and barrel revamps etc.
- Plan and support marketing related activities (roadshow, TurboForum, PRACTICE visits) for complex projects as part of IGC marketing plan
Sales
- Lead Pre-Bid Phase (identify lead, develop value preposition, budgetary quote, Bid/no-bid decision). First Contact for complex projects queries in the region
- Provides value based target pricing and challenge cost estimates and performance to ensure positive customer business case (ROI)
- Authorized and responsible for Go/no-Go and Bid/no-Bid decision in alignment with PC
- Organizes and supports quotations on local IGC scope (if needed takes lead)
- Regional coordination between IGC, CoC and PC
- Funnel management
- Approval- and signature competence within the rules and regulations
- Technical Sales training and guidance of FrontEnd Sales teams in IGC/Hubs
Project Management
- Oversees the Project Management for complex projects
- Ensures proper project management set-up with clear DoR between IGC & PC is in place and matches contractual obligations
- Selects the process to be followed
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
- Commercial Background preferably MBA
- Extensive knowledge on retrofit and footprint portfolio of MAN ES PrimeServ Industries
- Understand and gain knowledge about the Balance of Plant equipment, customer base and applicable sales processes
- This position is based in Shanghai, China.
