Sales Coordinator - Muscat

What are you going to do?

 

Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing and improving information flow from customer enquiry to final customer payment. The job holder will be assigned to handle mainly the customer orders and to finalize it on time to ensure accurate invoicing and cash flow. This individual will act as the interface to our customers, suppliers on assigned projects.

As Sales Coordinator your main tasks is:

 

  • Verifies customer information as per company guideline.
  • Arranging the Quotes for spares, Sales Order generation, Order confirmations, and communication with suppliers and clients.
  • Receives and respond to customer queries.
  • Places sales quotations for workshop and spares by adhere to all MAN compliance guidelines.
  • Prepare cost collection to expedite invoicing.
  • Make sure issuance of purchase orders to subcontractors.
  • Coordinates with customers and agents for collection and delivery of reconditioned/overhauled items and spares
  • Sends out inspections and service reports on time.
  • Keep close track on WIP (Work In Progress) project codes.
  • Reviews orders for completeness according to reporting procedures and coordinate on incomplete orders to complete for further processing.
  • Ensures proper documentation on each project.
  • Own the coordination and follow-up for frequent ad hoc data requests from Suppliers/ Customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

You can help us with these qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent experience (with mechanical/ technical knowledge would be advantageous)
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, command of the English language.
  • Ability to work independently, cross-functional and with multi-location team
  • Proficient in SAP Business One
  • Proficient in CRM / PrimeShop/My place Usage
  • Good ability to accurately convey technical data and information into written reports.
  • Excellent computer literacy (Word, Excel, MS-Project etc.)

Internship – Order Management

  • Handling customs clearance (authorization Bayan system).
  • Checking order quantities and making bid requests.
  • Raise the purchase order .
  • Negotiating deals with suppliers and follow up the orders .  
  • Supporting in preparation of Inspection report of repair jobs
  • Submit the reports
  • Communication with clients on status of jobs

You can help us with these qualifications:

  • Very good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Must be enrolled in a College / University program
  • University degree or equivalent experience (Fresh Graduate)
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Sales Manager

What you should know about us:

We can offer you the following tasks:

  • Definition of the target and achievement of order intake for the assigned region and product range.
  • Responsible to support the growth strategies within the region (budget quotations, order intake, revenue/casing, customer visits), follow up on open payments
  • Win new customers with a systematic approach / and get understanding and agreement on general terms and conditions
  • Registration, acceptance of MDT products with all customers /end users so that each product gets the best chance in the market.
  • Builds customers relationships from prospecting to closing / foster relationship with agents
  • Negotiate/approve contracts and service agreements
  • Develop and implements marketing plans, oversees the sales budget
  • Regional coordination between customers/agents and headquarters
  • Collect & communicate market intelligence / competitors activities, project opportunities
  • Quarterly Business Review / Reporting in a structured and professional manner 

 

You can help us with these qualifications:

  • Detailed understanding of the business both technical and commercial levels
  • Seasoned sales / marketing experience  with 5 to 10 years of related experience, preferably in the heavy equipment manufacturing / machines
  • Knowledge on service business of Rotating equipment of Compressors, Turbines, Pumps, etc
  • MAN ES product knowledge
  • Know the customer needs and customer base
  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
  • Commercial Background preferably MBA 
  • Omani National
