We can offer you the following tasks:
- Superintendent Engineer is responsible for his team, his own work tasks as required by seniors time to time in accordance with assigned responsibilities
- Supervises and leads team of service engineers & technicians, skilled labour, and work crews in all activities concerned with field engineering works aspects
- Ability to prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Competent in reading, understanding and interpreting specifications, drawings, and all other engineering related documentation.
- Familiar with and enforces strict compliance with all Engineering Standards, QA/QC and Safety procedures, plus all Company rules and regulations.
- Develops excellent working relationships with all other department personnel as well as client management. .
- Liaise with other staff to ensure the optimum interface of the various operational activities, with the overall objective of successful completion of the maintenance / service activities and projects.
- Planning, monitoring and tracking of maintenance projects and daily progress and work completed, comparing planned to actual. Takes appropriate mitigating action to ensure compliance with the plan, based on knowledge of available manpower, equipment, materials, and in cooperation with planning engineer and project management.
- Ensures that the staff understands and implements the engineering aspects of the work plan, by explaining and engaging in pro‐active communication with the crews.
- Identifies and implements “on‐the‐job” training programs with the aim of developing and improving team members’ competency in required skills and abilities.
- Being an expert, responsible to manages complex field service missions
- Develops special solutions for his / her field of activity
- Develops, designs and implements overall field service strategies with cross company implications
- Coordination of experts of a lower level and external experts belonging to his / her field service responsibility area
- Serves as contact for highly sensitive issues and problems
- Promotes the development and implementation of best practices in his / her own area of responsibility
You can help us with these qualifications:
- Seasoned engineer with 5 to 7 years of related experience, preferably on 2 stroke Marine / HFO engines
- University degree in Engineering with related work experience or comparable vocational education with longtime work experience

• Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching markets and industries and related events, publications, and announcements.
• Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integrations of MAN-ES solutions and products with customers operational needs and strategies; examines risks and potentials; estimates clients’ needs and goals.
• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business units.
• Customer Relations Management: Implements effect key account management with new accounts.
• Identifies decision makers and influencers for major accounts. Cultivates the relationship with the major accounts. Ensures flawless flow of communication between the regional management and customers.
• Targets and gains new business as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities and to gain comprehensive knowledge of the market sector and what is influencing it.
• Shares knowledge, experiences and expertise with key clients, customers and third parties, plus work with Regional Managers to effectively target prospects using a regional team approach.
• Prepares and presents presentations for internal and external customers.
• Travels to internal and external customer locations.
• Prepares reports as required for both General Managers and senior personnel.
• Develops marketing plans to implement, grow existing, and new business together with business intelligence.
• Develops literature for customers to learn about new and existing products and services that the company offers to grow existing and new business.

You can help us with these qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university degree in engineering or business (MBA is of advantage)
- Min. 5 years’ work experience in a sales or project development position in marine industry and/or power plants;
- Deep understanding of marine business and/or power plants;
- Customer oriented, entrepreneurial, self-disciplined, and highly motivated with ability to focus on defined priorities;
- Experienced in leading large acquisition projects;
- Excellent communicator with very strong negotiating skills
- Readiness to travel as required by business needs (partially >25% of the time and sometimes on very short notice)

Sufficient experience necessary to demonstrate understanding of mechanical systems and operations is required.

Experience with and theoretical/practical knowledge of diesel engines, turbochargers, pumps, propellers, turbines, automation or transmission systems is desired.

- Develops the sales strategy for the region, deployment and achievement of agreed sales objections
- Build strong customer relationships, develop customer trust, and understand the customer needs.
- Executes and builds a strong sales pipeline, customer leads through marketing activities, and order value to achieve set sales objectives
- Assist customers with the development of their needs analysis, value-added solutions, design specifications and future needs analysis

You can help us with these qualifications:

- Seasoned sales / marketing experiencewith 5 to 10 years of related experience, preferably in the heavy equipment manufacturing / machines
- Demonstrated sales success, with complex sales, in the targeted regional market
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence key decision makers at all levels of the business
- Demonstrated ability to present and close proposals to position MDT as the customers winning supplier
- Proven background of achieving sales targets on an ongoing basis
- Understand and gain knowledge about the Balance of Plant equipment, customer base and applicable sales processes
