Senior Financial Controller

What you should know about us:

We can offer you the following tasks:

Accounting Management

  • Oversee the accounting department to ensure proper maintenance and development of all processes and systems related to Accounting, Financial and Reporting functions
  • Develop and manage the staff engaged with these functions and activities
  • Develop, manage and optimize the relationship with external companies engaged with the functions and activity
  • Know all MAN Accounting (IFRS), Financing incl. Financial Principles and Guidelines ensuring adherence to them
  • Oversee the month-end closing including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and corporate/overhead cost allocation as well as preparation of month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial statements ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting requested by Top Management
  • Ensure proper filing of tax returns and adherence to Transfer Pricing Rules
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for project controlling
  • Supervise introduction and operation of financial section of SAP system and corresponding process (if applicable)

Financial Management

  • Ensure proper invoicing processes in all departments including intercompany invoicing
  • Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports with monthly Profit and Loss and according forecast and budgets by division and profit center. Hence lead the financial planning and analysis process
  • Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed
  • Assist managers in domestic locations in utilizing financial information to identify areas of profitability, growth, and productivity improvements.
  • Oversee cash planning and expenditure of capital investments and asset management
  • Oversee financing transactions as well as banking relationships
  • Oversee annual external audit by providing information and answers to auditors. Also liaise with/ assist internal audit team in the event of internal audit
  • Responsible for communication with tax authorities, banks, external auditors, and 3rd party solutions for the Finance and / or IT area
  • Immense understanding of business processes and how these impact the general well-being of the company

You can help us with these qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance in a multinational company
  • Strong controlling experience to ensure compliance in accounting policies and alignment with processes and internal controls
  • Deep understanding of project accounting and its overall impact on profit and loss statements as well as balance sheet

Regional Sales Manager Retrofit

What you should know about us:

Detailed tasks specification:

  • Retrofit sales responsibility for Region MEA
  • Provide input to Sales Strategy
  • Report sales status to the Head of Segment
  • Act as contact person for IGC's related to technical matters on retrofit solutions
  • Create quotation in SAP based on customer inquiries.
  • Conduct customer visits in coordination with IGC Sales Managers.
  • Handover sales orders to project execution in Product Center, Denmark.
  • Participation in exhibitions and seminars
  • Ensuring product training of your colleagues

     

    You can help us with these qualifications:

  • We are looking for a person with extensive sales experience within sales, preferably from within the marine industry combined with a strong technical background.
  • The candidate could be marine engineer, mechanical engineer or similar.
  • Proactive, self-driven and have a structured and quality-oriented approach to assignments. Result-oriented, possess excellent networking skills and have the ability to interface at all levels in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent English skills both orally and in writing

What you should know about us:

  • Managing the flow of day-to-day operations and making adjustments when necessary
  • You ensure a successful on boarding and training of new employees
  • Support the strategy set by MAN | PrimeServ Management team
  • Effectively developing and implementing processes in the department
  • As a team leader you put a great effort into motivating your team of Technical Sales Engineers and Sales Coordinators
  • Responsible for effectively communicating management decisions to your Sales Engineers and Sales Coordinators.
  • Identifying key tasks and prioritizing them in terms of their value for MAN | PrimeServ Personnel planning
  • Regularly review and update all relevant procedures to ensure order processing is operating in the most efficient manner
  • Prepares employees’ Performance Evaluation and conducting yearly appraisal

     

    You can help us with these qualifications:

  • Very good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the same field preferably has a technical background as Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
  • Good level of Computer skills; proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills required.
  • Must be well organized, able to work under time constraints and have the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment meeting deadlines as set by manager.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with customers, colleagues, management and other departments.
  • Must have the ability to work independently solving problems on orders by reaching out to key stakeholders and analysing the order file in order to make accurate decisions on execution.
