VL71 Network Event Highlights MAN Energy Solutions' Decarbonization & AI Strategy

On September 26th, a VL71 network event was successfully held at the PrimeServ Academy Center of MAN Energy Solutions China in Shanghai focusing on MAN ES view on decarbonization and AI. The event was attended by industry leaders of Danish companies in China and organized by the Danish Management Society (VL), a leading Danish non-profit network for industry leaders, C-suite executives, board members, politicians, and opinion leaders, with its purpose to promote modern, responsible leadership and management by sharing knowledge and engaging in dialogue.

The network event gathered industry leaders from various Danish companies, with Ambassador Mikael Hemniti Winther, the Consul General of Denmark to Shanghai in attendance. During the meeting, Martin Lyager Hansen, Head of PrimeServ Marine & Power of MAN Energy Solutions China, delivered an update on MAN-ES's strategy for decarbonization, retrofit conversions in China, and our digital journey in the maritime sector. Discussions also focused on green fuel availability and production in China and the EU, as well as the challenges posed by the qualified manpower shortage in the Chinese market.

Participants of the event praised MAN ES for being at the forefront of green technologies in the maritime market. They described the event as "very interesting and inspiring" and "fascinating," adding that it was great to hear about the industry's future direction. They also congratulated the Chinese MAN ES team for their exceptional performance.
