Clean power for a world-famous holiday destination
In a move toward greener operations, Endesa, the Spanish utility company, is now able to cut SOx, NOx, and CO2 emissions at their Ibiza power plant by switching from Diesel to Gas operation. In this first dual-fuel conversion of B-type engines, a retrofit team from MAN PrimeServ Augsburg converted two 18V48/60B MAN engines to 18V51/60DF. These retrofitted Gen-Sets can now supply one of Europe’s most popular holiday destination with clean power.
